Melissa has been observing and capturing life’s moments from a very young age; first through writing and then photography. After earning a master’s degree in journalism, Melissa began her career as a content producer for Boston.com, the Boston Globe’s website. While working there, she fell in love with photography, her life’s passion.

When capturing weddings, Melissa strives to capture the emotion and beauty of the day. Unique angles, lighting, and style are hallmarks of Melissa’s wedding photography.

Melissa’s work has been featured in many publications, including Style Me Pretty, The Knot Boston, Southern New England Weddings, Newport Wedding Magazine, Beantown Bride, and the Improper Bostonian.

Melissa has taught photography at Boston University’s Center for Digital Imaging Arts. She also has a newborn and children’s photography business, Robotti & Rosa Photography.

Beginning in March 2014, Melissa’s main studio will be located in Walpole, MA. It’s a 2500+ square foot space, ideal for boudoir, portrait, and children’s photography. Also beginning in the spring 2014, she will have a satellite studio in Newport, RI, in collaboration with Russell Morin Fine Catering, Sayles Livingston Design, and Ormonde Productions.
