We’ve created a variety of packages with many beautiful albums to choose from. From elegant silk folios to luxurious matted and flush mount albums, we have something for everyone!
All packages include:
- A 90-minute session with Melissa
- 50 professionally edited and retouched images to choose from
- A pre-session consultation over the phone or at Melissa’s home studio
- Password-protected, online proofing gallery
Package 1 – $395
If you prefer to make your own album or would like to purchase just a few prints, this is the package for you. After your session, your photos will be uploaded to Pictage, our professional photo lab, where you can purchase professional prints.

Package 2 – $485
This package includes a triple folio, displaying 3 5×7 prints. The folio is handcrafted and covered in Japanese shantung silk.
Package 3 – $485
This package includes the perfect album to discretely tuck in a suitcase or drawer! Your 20 favorite photos will be displayed in a custom designed 4×6-inch flush mount album with a soft cover.
Package 4 – $525
This package includes a super feminine 5×7-inch album with 20 prints mounted directly to hard cardboard pages.
Package 5 – $525
This package includes an 8×10 hardcover magazine style book. It includes 20 of your favorite photos. Additional photos may be added for $5 each. Upgrade to a silk album cover for an additional $15.
Package 6 – $535
This package includes an 11×14 hardcover magazine style book. It includes 20 of your favorite photos. Additional photos may be added for $6 each. Upgrade to a silk album cover for an additional $15.
Package 7 – $600
This package includes an 8×8-inch matted album with your 20 favorite photos. Additional photos may be added for $7 each.
Package 8 – $650
This package includes a gorgeous 10×8 ribbon-bound silk album with your 20 favorite photos. Additional photos may be added for $12 each.
Package 9 – $700
This package includes a 8×8 flush mount album with your 25 favorite photos. You may choose from silk, leather, suede, or linen cover materials. Additional photos may be added for $7 each.

GENERAL FAQS
I am having boudoir photos taken as a gift. When should I schedule my session?
In order to guarantee you will receive your album in time, your session must be scheduled for 8 weeks before your occasion date.
Do you retouch photos?
Basic retouching is included in the cost of the session. Basic retouching includes removal of bruises, cellulite, scars, acne, undereye circles. Basic retouching DOES NOT include changes to the shape of your body, straightening or whitening of the teeth, tattoo removal, tan line removal, removal of tags in lingerie.
How many outfits should I bring?
We recommend no more than 5 outfits.
What types of outfits should I bring?
Above all, you should bring outfits that fit you well and make you feel confident. If there are areas of your body you would prefer not to highlight in the photos, we recommend selecting outfits that hide or flatter those areas. Don’t forget a pair of heels!
What do you think looks good in photos?
I like lacy boy shorts, corsets, little skirts, men’s button down shirts, fitted jeans, pearls, diamonds, and little nighties. Be creative!
Where should I go shopping?
While many of my clients go to Victoria’s Secret and Frederick’s of Hollywood, I’ve also seen some great stuff from Macy’s and H&M.
Can I bring a friend?
If you would like, you are welcome to bring one friend with you for moral support.
Can I bring my husband/fiancé/boyfriend?
This makes Melissa uncomfortable, so leave him home and surprise him with the photos later!
How many clients has Melissa had?
At the time of publication, Melissa has had more than 300 boudoir clients.
Do you do nudes?
Yes, tasteful nude photographs; more Maxim than Playboy.
Do I have to get nude?
Nope, you can be as covered as you like.
Do I have to look like a supermodel to have boudoir photos taken?
Absolutely not! Any size and age are welcome.
Do you offer hair and makeup services?
Our hair and makeup artist of choice is Tara Vaccaro Gudmundsen of Tada. Her website is tadamakeup.com. Her email address is makeup@tadayourself.com. Please contact her directly with questions about hair and makeup. Her makeup services are $75 and hair is $75. If you get both done, it’s $125.
How many photos do I get?
Melissa selects and retouches 50 images from what she shoots. We believe in quality over quantity. Trust us, 50 is plenty to choose from!
What time should I arrive for my session?
Please arrive at your designated session time. We ask that you do not arrive early to respect the privacy of other women who may have a session before you.
Can I see every single photo you take during my session?
Unfortunately not. We narrow down your photos to the 50 very best and then retouch and edit them to perfection before you see them.
Do you have a package that includes a CD of high resolution images?
Because we are professional photographers, we have access to the finest photographic products available, which are not available to consumers. We would like for you to have a professional end product, so therefore do not offer a package with just a CD of images. If you can’t live without it, the CD may be added to any package for an additional $395.
Will you post my photos on your blog or website?
Given the sensitive nature of boudoir photography, boudoir photos are never posted without permission from the client. Names are never used on Melissa’s blog, website, or printed materials.
Do you send my photos out to a third party for books and albums?
Yes, we work with professional printers and album companies.
Where will my session take place?
Melissa holds all boudoir sessions at her studio in Reading, MA. We are also available for travel (for an additional fee) if you’d like to rent a hotel room for an individual session.
How much is the deposit?
The deposit for a session is $200 and is non-refundable. The balance is due the day of your session.
What methods of payment do you accept?
Cash, check, and credit cards.
I would like to cancel my session, can I have my deposit back?
Deposits paid at the time of booking are non refundable. However, if you find a replacement we will refund the deposit after she signs her contract and pays her deposit. If you should decide to book a boudoir or portrait session at a later date, your deposit may be applied towards that session.
Is it possible to reschedule my session?
You are welcome to reschedule session if it is 3 weeks before your session date. During busy season (May-October), it may be difficult to reschedule. If it is less than 3 weeks before your session date, you will be charged a $50 rescheduling fee.
MARATHON FAQS
What is a marathon session?
A marathon session just means Melissa shoots boudoir sessions all day long! Typically 5 women sign up for the session. Each woman comes for her assigned session time and leaves immediately afterwards.
Will the other participants be around when I’m having my photos taken?
There might be someone in a separate area of the studio having their hair or makeup done, but they will not be watching your session.
How many times a year do you hold marathon sessions? Where do they take place?
Marathon sessions are held several times a year.
How many women are needed for a marathon session?
Marathon sessions are limited to 5 participants.
Are there discounts available for marathon sessions?
Marathon session participants receive 15% off their session.
What time should I arrive?
You will be assigned a time slot. You should arrived at your specified time. In consideration of the other participants in the session and the photographer, please do not arrive early. If you should arrive late, time will be deducted from your session.
How much is the deposit for a marathon session?
The deposit is $200 and is non refundable.
